0. Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Under government regulations issued in January 2007 we are all obliged and must play our part to ensure that the amount of waste on certain electrical and electronic equipment is reduced going forward.
Furthermore where it is produced as waste we must work together to ensure that it is separated from household waste, collected separately and ultimately disposed of in a sound environmental manner (recycled and recovered).

In essence some of the chemicals and metals in these electrical items can be harmful to the soil and human health when disposed of in landfill sites.
By adopting the new regulations and working together we can all reduce the amount of landfill and resulting contamination.

For your part as the customer you are encouraged to examine your electrical waste before throwing it away and in particular look for the rating plate and if the WEEE logo is present (a dustbin with a cross through it) you must not throw it in your household waste.

We offer our customers the facility to return to us any unwanted electrical airsoft items for safe disposal & recycling.
Should this facility be required please contact us

4. LiPo Battery Safety

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS v1.3

All batteries are tested before they are posted and any fault must be notified within 3 days of receiving your order

1. Please take extreme caution when soldering the dean plug to the main wires. The cells could be permanently damaged if the battery is shorted.

2. We strongly suggested LiPos to be balance charged every charge. This has great influence over the life and performance or the battery pack.

3. Self-discharging is normal in Li-Po battery. Top off your battery packs before use if they are fully charged and have not been used for max performance.

4. Use Li-Po balance charger only.

5. Never charge the battery unattended.

6. Maximum charge is 3C but charge with more than IC could get false message from charger and is not encouraged.

i.e. for 2200mAh/5000mAh batter), 2200mAhl5000mAh = 2.2 5A = 1C.

7. 1C charge is recommended. Attempting for higher charge current could get false message from charger and is not encouraged.

i.e. 1100mAh/I600mAh battery. the charge current should be 1.1A / 1.6A for 1C charging.

8. Do not overcharge or direct charge, which could shorten the life of the battery and the battery could crack if severely over charged.

Cell voltage must not exceed 4.2V per cell.

9. Do not charge batteries in series without reading your charger manual carefully. This could cause overcharge, fire or incorrect battery recognition.

10. The minimum voltage could be different for different Kong Power batten pack. Please DO read the sticker on the battery pack for information accordingly.

11. DO not over discharge the battery, or it could be damaged.

12. The cell voltage is best kept above 3.0V. The multi function chargers might identify the battery as undetectable if the voltage is exceedingly low.

Over discharge causes the cells unbalanced or any cell to be over charged. Therefore, over discharge is not encouraged.

13. Constantly over discharging the battery could cause voltage unbalanced as a result of power loss.

14. Continue to charge a battery that has begun to swell up will cause fire.

15. DO not expose the battery in direct sun light. Never charge your batteries in car under extreme temperature. This could cause a fire.

16. Check the cell voltage regularly and balance the cells for max performance.

17. The battery could be hot after use. Please leave it for 30 minutes before charging.

18. Please take caution of the above and take a good care of your battery to maintain its high performance and to extend its life.

19. RC model boat and RC model car players please take caution of all the above and also use timer.

Use BE for Li-Poly battery only and set the cutoff voltage to 3.0Y/cell or above to prevent the battery from being over discharged.

20. AEG Airsoft Gun players are recommended to TIME the battery use and stop discharging the battery immediately

when the ROF drop noticeably. If the battery is discharged to lower than 3.0V / cell, it could be severely damaged.

21. Warranty: The warranty does not cover misuse, unpacked battery, abuse or other inappropriate use of the battery.

Product warranty is limited to original defects.

5.Lipo Battery Tips

Top tips to use LiPO battery and keep your battery staying on top performance with long life cycle. vol. 1.0

Charging

1. Use smart LiPO balance charger.

2. Make sure the cell voltage are balanced(voltage difference within 0.02mv) after charging for max performance.

3. Do not charge the voltage of any cell over 4.2V for long life cycle. Over-charging will damage the battery.

Discharging

1. Keep the voltage per cell above 3.7V*(i.e. 7.4V for 2 cell lipo and 11.1V for 3 cell lipo). By following this rule, there is approx 20% capacity kept in the battery for the purpose of long

life cycle. This known as 80% rule. In other words, it means only use less than 80% of the battery capacity.

*: To get the correct voltage reading, measure the voltage when the battery is not under load.

2. LIPO battery WILL be damaged if it is drained.

3. In order NOT to damage your Kong Power AEG LIPO carelessly, battery alarm is recommended or count the total number of BBs/magazines you can shoot with that particular AEG and that particular LIPO battery safety, and without damaging your LIPO battery pack.

Maintenance

1. When LIPO is not used, charge/discharge the voltage per cell to 3.8V-3.85V for long life cycle.

2. For long term storage(i.e. Winter season), follow (1) and check the battery voltage every 1-2 months and maintain the battery voltage per cell within the recommended range of voltage.

20. ICS Plastic and Metal Gun Differences

  • plastic version - the receiver is plastic
  • plastic version - you get 2 plastic hicap 300 rnd magaines instead of 1 metal 450 rnd amd 1 plastic 300 rnd magazine
  • plastic version the motor is an infinite 2000 instead of the turbo 3000 that is in the metal bodied gun. That does not mean the motor is no good as it was originally in the metal gun until they upgraded the motor in the metal gun.

23. Gas Guns and the Cold.

Please be aware that GBB pistols do not perform well in the cold winter months.
We make every effort to test them and only send them out if in perfect working order.
If your GBB pistol that you have just received from us does not perform please call us before doing anything.
You should keep the magazines warm and only shoot on single shot in the cold weather.

24. ICS gearbox information

For standard ICS M4 AEG, you need to use MA-60/61/62. The difference between MA-61 and MA-62 is the wire direction.

For CXP-UK1/HOG, they use the same upper and lower gearboxes. However, we only have front wired lower gearbox part number for UK1/HOG, if you need the rear wired version, please let me know when you place order. I will change it for you.

For PAR Mk3, due to different dimension to the lower receiver, it has a different lower gearbox. MA-263 and MA-273 actually are the same gearbox with rear wire, but the wire length is different, so they have their individual part number for crane stock or MTR stock. However, the upper gearbox is the same as UK1 and HOG.

For APE, it has its own upper and lower gearbox. Though the upper gearbox is mainly the same as the UK1, but it has its own decorated bolt cover, positioning block and nozzle. So APE has its own upper gearbox.

JOULE CREEP and FPS TABLE

Firesupport FPS Chart for different bb weights

When you test the fps of a gun using .20g bbs and get a result convert that to energy (joules)

if you then put a heavier bb in the gun and test the fps the resulting energy will be higher than when you tested using .20, this is joule creep

To avoid joule creep guns are upgraded and tested using the bb weight that the customer says they will be using.

When testing teh gun at the site , the site should then test using the bbs you usually use and then use the attached chart to check the fps
